Playing with Nagypapi (Hungarian for Grandfather)
A little blurry, but the best grin I managed to capture during the photo shoot.
This is her librarian face: "Shhh. Quiet in the library."
What did you just say to me?!
What is that thing in front of your face?
I'm not sure I approve.
Just a grin. :)
We took a small day-trip to New Bern, NC on Friday and had quite the adventure simply walking around and looking at stuff, and Elizabeth met Santa for the first time. Here are some pictures from that trip, as well as video footage of the great Santa encounter of 2011:
Sitting in her carrier while we ate at Ribeye's Steakhouse. She's staring at me with cool disdain. "A bow, Mom? Seriously?"
Posing with Dad after the great Santa encounter: "I'd rather be held by bear than by that bearded guy in the red suit."
Playing Tiny Tim to Dad's Bob Cratchit.
And how does Elizabeth respond to Santa Claus for the first time? Why, with abject terror, of course:
The picture is pretty hilarious. In any case, here are some new facts about our little girl:
- She makes a grunting sound that indicates frustration or disgust. It's almost like a small fit, which is cute for now, but later it might be a problem.
- Now when she pulls my glasses off my face, she chortles almost wickedly. Little devil.
- When we help her pet the dogs, she laughs with delight. She adores both the dogs.
