Hi! My name is Elizabeth, and I'd like to welcome you to the first episode of my new show, Elizabeth's Baby Food Review! Today, I'll be rating a dish called "Rice Cereal."
Well, I've put in my order, and as you can see, the staff here brought it out in a nice blue plastic dish--classy, no?
Speaking of the staff, let me introduce you to my manservant. He answers to the name of "Dad" usually, but sometimes I have to call him other things to get his attention (it's so hard to find good help these days).
So Dad feeds the first spoonful to me on an aesthetically pleasing pink rubber-tipped spoon. I take a bite and consider the texture and taste....
I detect the merest hint of Enfamil formula and an interesting flaky texture....
Tell me, is the formula-rice blend made with pure, bottled water?
No? Just filtered water? Oh well, that's not such a big deal I guess...
Just between you and me, I think this dish would have been better if served warm. I'll be sure to mention that to the cook on my way out.
Would I like more? Oh, I really shouldn't..... Oh what the heck? I'm well within the acceptable range for my weight percentile rank!
I say, that was delish! My compliments to the chef (though do let her know that it would be better warm, please). Well, that concludes this episode of Elizabeth's Baby Food Review. Until next time, happy eating!
Mother's Note: This was really just an excuse for me to play with my new digital camera! I love it! I think the pictures are much clearer. Also, Elizabeth actually doesn't seem to like rice cereal all that much, though she will try to eat it--most of it just dribbles down her face right now. :)
